GULEN COLLEGE OPENS IN CHICAGO. Does It Matter? Stealth Jihad rising….

Welcome to the American Islamic College, where students will be trained to take part in the creation of a universal caliphate and the international expansion of militant Islam.

The college, which reopened this week, has ties to the Gulen Movement, which has established over a hundred charter schools throughout the United States and to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, a coalition of 57 Muslim nations with headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The college, which is located within a Prairie modern brick edifice on three acres in the Lakeville neighborhood of Chicago, has closed and reopened several times since it was formed in 1981.

The last time it offered a full semester of classes in Islamic law and religion was in 2001.

“The whole of America needs an Islamic institution of Islamic thought,” said Ali Yurtsever, a former research scholar at Georgetown University, who oversaw the effort to reopen the institution. “If you don’t have Islamic colleges, then people are misled, they’ll easily be deceived and the clash will continue to grow.”

Ali Yurtsever, who is also known as Hassan Ali Yurtsever, a.k.a. H. Ali Yurtsever, a.k.a.Ali Yurtsever, is a Gulen goon. He is a board member of Chicago Math and Science Academy, a Gulen charter school, that is operated by Concept Schools a Gulen organization. He is the coordinator of Niagara Educational Services, another Gulen company, and president of Rumi Forum, one of Gulen’s religious and political lobbying organizations.

Fethullah Gulen has been called “most dangerous Islamist on planet earth.” He has amassed a fortune – – estimated to be in excess of $25 billion – – and remains intent upon the restoration of the Ottoman Empire and the establishment of universal Islamic law.

Another Gulenist goon affiliated with the re-opening of the American IOslmaic College is Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, who received the 2009 International Peace Award from the Rumi Forum.

Ihsanoglu said that the re-opening of the Muslim college is necessitated by rising tide of Islamophobia throughout the country.

“Today, American Muslims have a role and duty to lead the way through sound moral conduct and active participation in positive political movements toward the creation of a just, peaceful and righteous society,” he said.

Ihsanoglu serves as the Secretary General of the OIC, an organization which seeks the creation of a universal Islamic community, the Ummah, based upon the Koran, the Sunna, and the canonical orthodoxy of shari’a.

The OIC, according to noted British historian Bar Ye’or, supports all jihadist movements that oppose “foreign occupation,” including those in “occupied” Indian Kashmir, and condemns the “humiliation and oppression” of Muslims in India.

Ihsanoglu, as the spokesman of the OIC, issued this warning in 2008 to all Americans about their constitutional right to free speech: “We sent a clear message to the West regarding the red lines that should not be crossed” regarding free speech about Islam and terrorism. And he reported success: “The official West and its public opinion are all now well-aware of the sensitivities of these issues. They have also started to look seriously into the question of freedom of expression from the perspective of its inherent responsibility, which should not be overlooked.”

Scott Alexander, director of the Catholic-Muslim Studies Program at Catholic Theological Union, has been a principal supporter of the re-opening of the American Islamic College.

In 2004 Alexander had planned to act as an expert witness at the terrorism trial of Fawaz Damra. He declined to appear after a controversy erupted over his justification or Damra’s urging of Muslims to kill Jews “on the grounds that he was speaking as a victim.”

Alexander has also claimed that Hamas and their terrorist activities were really no different than what the “Christian evangelical right” has brought forth.

Dr. Zaher Sahloul, president of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago, boastfully calls the college “a sleeping giant.”

What happens when the giant awakes?

So what you say?

WHO is Dr. Scott Alexander?

Scott Alexander planned CTU exchange program with Al Quds University and Hamas activists Azzam Tamimi and Abu Sway

Associate Professor of Islam;
Director, Catholic-Muslim Studies
Bernardin Center at Catholic Theological Union

How were you called to your current ministry/service?
In college I was faced with the question, “What am I going to do with my life?”

The answer that first came back was: “Major in religion.” Much to my dad’s dismay, that’s what I did. Ten years later I found myself with a Ph.D. in Islamic studies and teaching at Indiana University in Bloomington. Then, in 2000 I felt the hand of divine providence like I’ve never felt it before. I got a job in the Bernardin Center at Catholic Theological Union teaching Islam and reaching out in fellowship to Muslims.

For the first time in my life I was able to combine my desire for ministry with my love for Islam and Muslim peoples.

Scott Alexander’s court testimony justifying Fawaz Damra’s views reveals his perception of Muslim interfaith Dialouge.

TRANSLATION FROM TAPE: “Directing all rifles at the first and last enemies of the Islamic nation and that is the sons of monkeys and pigs…the Jews”

“As unquestionably hate-filled and thus morally reprehensible as such language is, when Palestinians refer to Jews as ‘descended from apes and swine’ or encourage support for those who ‘kill Jews,’ they do so with the reasonably justifiable self-image of victim and persecuted, not of victimizer and persecutor.”

Scott Alexander’s considers Muslims suspected of terror as victims . In 2002 he wrote a letter he to President Bush protesting the anti terror measures taken against Islamists and their institutions..

Alexander’s letter was published on the ISNA website of the Islamic Society of North America.

The president of the ISNA , Sayid Sayeed, is also on the advisory board of the Bernardin Center. The ISNA is presently one of many Muslim organisations under investigation by a Senate finance committee for ties to terrorist funding.

.Scott Alexander’s letter was reprinted on both the ISNA and MuslimUzbekistan websites. The MU website has ties to Hizb ut Tahrir and Al Qaeda .

For the entire letter click on the ISNA URL above or scroll to the bottom of the page:

Scott Alexander implores President Bush “to prove to Americans and the rest of the world” that Muslims will be protected after 9/11. He attacks the FBI, advises law enforcement to consult with Muslims to thwart terrorism, and bashes terrorism expert Steven Emerson.

“A Letter to the President of (sic) USA On Muslim Civil Liberties”

“…The second reason I’m writing is to protest, in the strongest terms possible, the recent raids on the homes and offices of Muslim citizens and community leaders in Virginia and the D.C. area…

“My fear is that our government has taken the lead of a self-appointed and media-anointed “terrorist expert” like Steven Emerson who simply points his finger at each and every Muslim organization with any tie to Palestine, and declares them hornets’ nests of terrorist activity. Does the FBI, for example, consult regularly with those key members of the Muslim community who can raise substantive (rather than rhetorical) objections to the observations of someone like Emerson? My sense is that it does not. Rather, it seems that in its dealings with the domestic Muslim community, federal law enforcement is operating on Emerson’s McCarthy-like assumption of treachery rather than loyalty among the American Muslim community. “

“In the name of God, and in the name of all that is noble and good in our great nation, I respectfully implore you to take immediate and concrete steps to prove to all Americans–and the rest of the world–that the rights and dignity of the Muslim community in the U.S. will be afforded all the protection they legally and morally deserve. “

In 2002, the Bernadin Center allotted funds from a Lilly grant “Peacebuilders Initiative” to two known Hamas activists,. Azzam Tamimi, and Mustafa Abu Sway, a professor of Islamic studies from Al Quds University, to implement a student exchange program between Al Quds and the CTU.

Al Quds University in Jerusalem is known to be a center of terror activity. The school’s president , Sari Nussibeh, went on Arab television together with Hamas leader Khalid Mischal, and praised the mother of a suicide bomber

In 2002 the CTU held it’s second annual Christian Muslim Interfaith Conference.

Scott Alexander wrote this report which can be viewed in it’s entirety on page 4 of the HTML below:

“The visit of Professor Mustafa Abu Sway as keynote speaker made for a stimulating contribution in deliberations but also marked the beginning of a proposed institutional relationship between the CTU and Al Quds University’s Islamic Research Center (In sha’ Allah) i.e. god willing. In the near future we will begin arranging for exchange study and research between the two institutions”.

Through the contributions of Professor Sway, and Dr.Azzam Tamimi, founding director of the International Institute of Islamic Political Thought in London, Islamic critiques and analyses of the development of secularism were introduced.”

According to Martin Kramer, editor of the MEF quarterly: “Tamimi is Hamas”

Dr.Daniel Pipes and Asaf Romirowsky exposed Mustafa Abu Sway’s Hamas activism: “Hamas in the Florida Classroom”

Gulen Movement and Fethullah Gulen

Gülen was a student and follower of Sheikh Sa’id-i Kurdi (1878-1960), also known as Sa’id-i Nursi, the founder of the Islamist Nur (light) movement. After Turkey’s war of independence, Kurdi demanded, in an address to the new parliament, that the new republic be based on Islamic principles. He turned against Atatürk and his reforms and against the new modern, secular, Western republic.

Sharon-Kreskin documents how the FGC, in league with Turkey’s ruling party, Adalet ve Kalkinma Partisi (AKP), has been successful in gradually moving Turkey away from its secular democratic governance, towards an Islamist state governed by Shariah law, and reorienting itself toward Iran. What’s more, other evidence suggests that Gulen’s ultimate goal may well be the resurrection of the Ottoman Empire so as to reinstate the Islamic Caliph. Clearly this has immensely serious ramifications for geo-political affairs in the Middle East as well as for the continued rise of radical Islam throughout the world.

What makes Gulen particularly dangerous is his strategic and tactical means to achieving this goal. He oversees a worldwide network of businesses, schools, foundations and media outlets, with an estimated budget of 25 billion dollars. Here’s what Gulen had to say in a sermon in 1999 aired on Turkish television:

You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers … until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this. If they do something prematurely, the world will crush our heads, and Muslims will suffer everywhere, like in the tragedies in Algeria, like in 1982 [in] Syria … like in the yearly disasters and tragedies in Egypt. The time is not yet right. You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it … You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey … Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside. The work to be done is [in] confronting the world. Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all—in confidence … trusting your loyalty and secrecy. I know that when you leave here—[just] as you discard your empty juice boxes, you must discard the thoughts and the feelings that I expressed here.

Simply put, he is brilliantly and patiently employing taqiyya on a global scale, because this strategic approach is not confined to Turkey.

Here in the U.S. the FGC runs over 90 charter public schools in at least 20 states. This was brought to our attention by ACT! for America members who actually have relatives who teach in one of these schools, an illustration of the growing reach of ACT! for America’s “eyes and ears” across our country. For obvious reasons we cannot reveal the identity of our sources.

Our readers may be familiar with the numerous emails we have released regarding the operation of the Tarek ibn Zayed Academy (TiZA), a publicly funded charter school in Minnesota that is so blatantly Islamic in nature that the Minnesota Department of Education issued two citations against it and the ACLU is suing it. FGC schools appear to be very different, and reflect the Gulen’s exhortation to “move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers…”

Indeed, the fact that so little has been written about the FGC schools here in the U.S., as well as the accolades that have been accorded the FGC as a model of “moderation” by some in our government, would appear to confirm that the FGC and its schools are doing an excellent job of heeding Gulen’s exhortation and masking their true intent.

During several discussions and emails with our sources inside FGC schools, I asked specifically if the schools promote Islam in the way that the TiZA school in Minnesota does. I was told that this was not the case in the schools these sources were familiar with. However, one particular school (and likely numerous others) appears to be in violation of state law because the school’s affidavit for its charter does not acknowledge that it is connected with a religious institution or group. In other words, those who chartered this school practiced taqiyya by hiding this fact. (Enterprising readers may want to research this with respect to FGC schools around the country.

What’s more, the schools appear to be a source of recruitment for outside school activities sponsored by the FGC, such as summer camps, which would be in keeping with the pattern of recruitment of members and followers that FGC employs worldwide, according to both the Jane’s and Middle East Quarterly articles.

As a further example of the use of taqiyya, the Jane’s article gives examples of how FGC’s Turkish language media outlet Zaman runs stories with information and headlines that are missing from the English language media outlet Today’s Zaman. This practice of two different messages, one to the indigenous Islamic population and one to the West, is common in the Islamic world, and has led many in the West, including political leaders and academics, to be misled as to the true intentions of Islamists.

In building a sophisticated and well-funded worldwide network, including a substantial presence here in the U.S., Fethullah Gulen is following in the footsteps and exhortations of Mohammed, who counseled patience and deception as a means of overcoming the infidel when the power of the infidel was greater than the power of the umma, the Muslim community. In a very real sense this is as or more sinister than the frontal assault strategy of Islamist organizations such as al Qaeda and Hamas, because, like the proverbial “frog in the kettle,” we are incrementally “boiled alive” without realizing it.

For years American Congress for Truth, and now its “sister” organization ACT! for America, have been ringing the alarm bells about what is variously known as “cultural jihad,” “creeping jihad,” “stealth jihad,” and “creeping shariah.” Much of Europe and Great Britain has been Islamized through this process, a process that invariably does not lead to peaceful coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims, but leads to Islamic self-segregation, increased Islamist militancy and aggression, and the eventual forced imposition of Islamic shariah law within the society.

The FGC charter schools in America may outwardly appear innocuous, but they are serving a greater and long-range objective of Fethullah Gulen. We in the West need to be less gullible and more discerning when it comes to the elements of “stealth jihad” within our midst.

Arizona school linked to Turkish Islamic supremacist threatens parents

“I sent my kids to this school because I wanted them to meet regular Muslims and to see them as ordinary people,” she says. “But when I find that my kids are to be turned into genocide-deniers, that’s very disturbing to me.”

Fethullah Gulen, the “Turkish Khomeini,” is one of the world’s most accomplished stealth jihadists. Detailshere. “Hidden Agenda? Parents raise concerns that a Tucson charter school has ties to a Turkish nationalist movement,” by Tim Vanderpool for the Tucson Weekly, December 31, 2009

What we have just witnessed for all the world to see is the Islamic practice of TAQIYYA.

This is the practice of telling lies by the followers of the kaffir. A tactic first used by the Mohamed himself as documented in the Hadith !Bukhari ) (52:269- ” The Prophet said, ‘War is deceit.’”

The context of this is thought to be the murder of Usayr ibn Zarimand his thirty unarmed men by Muhammad’s men after he “guaranteed” them safe passage.

Muslims are given Allah’s blessing to lie in the Koran , Sura (2:225) – “Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts

There is no doubting what was in the hearts of the lairs in Islamabad. To convince the kuffir that Pakistan and Islam were in no way connected to the slaughter that took place in Mumbai.

We are told that Islam is the religion of peace and poses no threat to civilisation. That Muslims have no desire to create a global ummah. We are guaranteed by so called moderate Muslims that if we work together we can find a way in which Islam and the west can co-exist.

This is the same guarantee that the Mohamed gave Zarim and his 30 unarmed men before he slaughtered them. This is the same guarantee that we are given after every slaughter of innocent women and children in the west. Work with the moderate Muslims we will guarantee your safety. That is tayiqqa straight from the hadith !

So Muslims don’t just choose to deceive and lie to us it is their duty to follow the example set by the Mohamed. No Muslim could never imagine questioning the word of Allah as set out in the Koran.

Understanding Taqiyya ― Islamic Principle of Lying for the Sake of Allah

by Warner MacKenzie

30 April, 2007

Lying and cheating in the Arab world is not really a moral matter but a method of safeguarding honor and status, avoiding shame, and at all times exploiting possibilities, for those with the wits for it, deftly and expeditiously to convert shame into honor on their own account and vice versa for their opponents. If honor so demands, lies and cheating may become absolute imperatives.” [David Pryce-Jones, “The Closed Circle” An interpretation of the Arabs, p4]

“No dishonor attaches to such primary transactions as selling short weight, deceiving anyone about quality, quantity or kind of goods, cheating at gambling, and bearing false witness. The doer of these things is merely quicker off the mark than the next fellow; owing him nothing, he is not to be blamed for taking what he can.” [David Pryce-Jones, “The Closed Circle”, p38]

The word “Taqiyya” literally means: “Concealing, precaution, guarding.” It is employed in disguising one’s beliefs, intentions, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions or strategies. In practical terms it is manifested as dissimulation, lying, deceiving, vexing and confounding with the intention of deflecting attention, foiling or pre-emptive blocking. It is currently employed in fending off and neutralising any criticism of Islam or Muslims.

The first woman to wear a veil in the White House has endorsed the Gulen movement which seeks to restore the Ottoman Empire and to establish a universal caliphate.

Dalia Mogahed, President Barack Obama’s Muslim advisor, said: “I think the Gülen movement offers people a model of what is possible if a dedicated group of people work together for the good of the society. I also think that it is an inspiration for other people and Muslims for what they can accomplish.”

Asked about the movement’s hidden agenda, Mogahed told Sunday’s Zaman that she usually does not attach any importance to such allegations.

“It (the Gulen movement) has moved beyond Turkey in its very benevolent projects and it serves people from all around the world of all backgrounds, but it is still made up mostly of Turks. That is what I feel is in need of expanding,” she said.

Fethullah Gulen has been called the “most dangerous Islamist” in the world.

He has amassed a fortune – – thanks, in part, to the CIA – – of $25 billion.

This money has been used to transform the secular government of Turkey into an Islamic Republic under the Justice and Democratic Party (Adalet ve Kalkinma, AKP)- – a party under the Gulen’s control.

Abdullah Gul, Turkey’s first Islamist President, is a Gulen disciple along with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Yusuf Ziya Ozcan, the head of Turkey’s Council of Higher Education.

Under the AKP, Turkey has transformed from a secular state into an Islamic country with 85,000 active mosques – – one for every 350- citizens – – the highest number per capita in the world, 90,000 imams, more imams than teachers and physicians – – and thousands of state-run Islamic schools.

Turkey, as Rachel Sharon-Krespin points out in Middle East Forum, has never seen a single incident of attacks on pious Muslims for fasting during Ramadan, whereas in recent years there have been many incidents of attacks on less-observant Turks for drinking alcohol or not fasting and on Christian clerics, including the recent murder of a Catholic bishop. While women who cover their heads in the Islamic manner can move freely in any area of the country, uncovered women are increasingly unwelcome in certain regions and are often physically assaulted by observant Islamists.

AKP leaders, including Gül and Erdoğan, have repeatedly expressed their opposition to the “imprisonment of Islam in the mosque,” demanding that it become omnipresent as the prevailing force throughout modern Turkey.

Ms. Mogahed call for the expansion of the Gulen movement throughout the world has failed to evoke a negative remark or comment from the national press.

Does it Matter?

Does it Matter that this college has ties to radical leaders?

Does it Matter that stealth jihad is organizing in America?

  2. these “gulen” schools are a propaganda front for islam which is dangerous no matter how it is packaged. muslims do not assimilate into western society because islam is a theocracy and demands supremacy.

the twin fogs of political correctness & ignorance must be dispersed before western society better understands this menace. even a brief review of islamic theology & history quickly exposes the deadly roots of this evil ideology.

see the links in the pdf version below for more accurate info about islam

islam is a horrible ideology for human rights

    5 key things about islam

    1. mythical beliefs – all religions have these (faith) because its part of being a religion: having beliefs without proof until after the believer dies. the problem is people will believe almost anything.

    2. totalitarianism – islam has no seperation of church and state: sharia law governs all. there is no free will in islam: only submission to the will of allah as conveniently determined by the imams who spew vapors to feather their own nests. there are no moderate muslims: they all support sharia law.

    3. violence – islam leads the pack of all religions in violent tenets for their ideology & history: having eternal canonical imperatives for supremacy at all costs and calling for violence & intimidation as basic tools to achieve these goals.

    4. dishonesty – only islam has dishonesty as a fundamental tenet: this stems from allah speaking to mohamhead & abrogation in the koran which is used to explain how mo’s peaceful early life was superseded by his warlord role later.

    5. misogyny – present day islam is still rooted in 8th century social ethics: treating females as property of men good only for children, severely limiting their activities, dressing them in shower curtains and worse.

    conclusions ??

there really are NO redeeming qualities for this muddled pile of propaganda.

islam is just another fascist totalitarian ideology used by power hungry fanatics on yet another quest for worldwide domination and includes all the usual human rights abuses & suppression of freedoms.
