Does It Matter To YOU if You Are Free?

October 6, 2015

Does it matter to you if you are free to do as you please? To shop? To talk online or on the phone? To spend your money as you wish? To have a job of your choice? To be able to get into your vehicle and travel as you please? To worship as a Christian without repercussion from our government? To be able to defend yourself against criminals?

As an Independent voter, I trust NO ONE, especially the MSMs to give you the TRUTH. The propaganda is evident, on display both on cable/satellite as well as on the internet.  The art of Dialectic Process is evident. Only the subverted individual would assume everything they see and hear is factual.  If you have a peaked interest in a topic, research it, vet it.  Do not trust one internet site to give you what you what to see or hear.  Go to at least two or three places to confirm or deny what you are being fed on a daily basis. Be an individual; not a sheep.

An excellent example is here:

Global Socialism a la United Nations. John Podesta of Center for American Progress Selected as One of Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda

John Podesta:

While reading the above bio on John Podesta at the Center for American Progress, FOCUS on this one statement below. It will be referred to at end of this blog.

He is currently serving on the U.N. Secretary General’s High-Level Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda.

Is John Podesta of the Center for American Progress Inflicting the “Project Podesta” Ideology/Tactic on Obama? What Americans Should Know…..

***Notation added here by Romanticpoet: Does any of the following sound familiar America?****

Podesta’s most lasting contribution to the leftist cause came through his promotion of a strategy that White House aides dubbed “Project Podesta.” This was a system that enabled the Clintons to push through unpopular policies that neither Congress nor the American people wanted. Its implementation marked a dramatic tilt in the balance of power, giving the executive branch an unprecedented ability to force its will on the legislative branch.

Project Podesta enabled the President to bypass Congress through the use of executive orders, presidential decision directives, White-House-sponsored lawsuits, vacancy appointments to high federal office, selective regulatory actions against targeted corporations, and a host of other extra-constitutional tactics.

In short, Podesta showed the Clintons that they could gain by force what they might fail to achieve through legislation. “Stroke of the pen. Law of the land. Kind of cool,” quipped White House aide Paul Begala to The New York Times on July 5, 1998, in response to questions about the Clintons’ growing disdain for the will of Congress.

Project Podesta’s most ambitious exercise was the war on Yugoslavia which Clinton launched by executive order on April 13, 1999, in defiance of the U.S. Congress and the United Nations.

When US News and World Report first revealed the existence of Project Podesta on November 1, 1999, two Congressional hearings convened to investigate the Clintons’ abuse of executive power. But the investigators issued no reports and took no action.

From the Washington Post:

Sweeping new gun laws proposed by influential liberal think tank

By ,

Published: January 12, 2012

With President Obama readying an overhaul of the nation’s gun laws, a liberal think tank with singular influence throughout his administration is pushing for a sweeping agenda of strict new restrictions on and federal oversight of gun and ammunition sales.

The Center for American Progress is recommending 13 new gun policies to the White House — some of them executive actions that would not require the approval of Congress — in what amounts to the progressive community’s wish list. [Emphasis added]

CAP’s proposals — which include requiring universal background checks, banning military-grade assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines, and modernizing data systems to track gun sales and enforce existing laws — are all but certain to face stiff opposition from the National Rifle Association and its many allies in Congress.

Obama — as well as Vice President Biden, who is leading the administration’s gun violence task force — has voiced support for many of these measures. Yet it is unclear which policies he ultimately will propose to Congress. Biden is planning to present his group’s recommendations to Obama on Tuesday.

CAP’s recommendations, presented Friday to White House officials and detailed in an 11-page report obtained by The Washington Post, establish a benchmark for what many in Obama’s liberal base are urging him to do after last month’s massacre at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn.

John Podesta, the Center for American Progress, and the Communist-friendly Modern Progressive Movement

20 Oct 2011

Center for American Progress (CAP) CEO and President John Podesta, who served as President Clinton’s chief of staff, is a major “progressive Catholic” and member of the ACORN advisory council, and serves as a professor at Georgetown University. Melody Barnes, Obama’s Director of the Domestic Policy Council, was the executive vice president for policy at CAP.

A major recipient of funds from the Soros-funded Open Society Institute (OSI), CAP issued a report on “Islamophobia,” a term suggesting a sickness or mental condition. Indeed, as the tenth anniversary of 9/11 was approaching, the CAP report on “Fear Inc.” purported to examine a conservative network of people and groups guilty of “Islamophobia” toward Muslims. The report seemed deliberately designed to take the attention away from events in the U.S. that were in progress to commemorate the deaths of almost 3,000 Americans killed by radical Muslims on 9/11.

John Podesta

On cue, another Soros-funded group, Media Matters, ran with excerpts from the report, emphasizing the “role played by right-wing media” such as Fox News in supposedly fanning the flames of “Islamophobia.” But CAP has its own propaganda network, which includes foreign propaganda channels Al-Jazeera and Iranian Press TV. They heavily publicized the CAP report.

In contrast to Fox, a private American network, Al-Jazeera and Press TV are foreign-funded.

The CAP report made much of the claim that seven conservative-oriented foundations gave $42.6 million to “Islamophobia think tanks” between 2001 and 2009. But CAP’s income in one year alone, according to Guide Star, which monitors public policy groups, was $38,600,935. The latest annual income of the Center for American Progress Action Fund was reported as $8,966,943.

So this means that CAP’s money surpassed the think tanks it attacks in the report by about $5 million in one year alone.

This newsworthy fact, which went unnoticed in media coverage of the “Fear Inc.” report, demonstrates how Soros-funded groups now dominate the public policy debate and try to silence voices which disagree with them. CAP plays a key role in this strategy.

Targeting American Catholics

Podesta’s “Catholic” affiliation was undoubtedly a factor in the decision by the OSI to give CAP $150,000 in 2005 for a “Faith and Public Life Resource Center.”  Deputy National Security Adviser Denis McDonough, a former Senior Fellow at CAP, was the moderator of a May 10, 2006, CAP event on “How Catholic Progressives View the Role of Faith in Governance.” He has noted that Obama’s work as an organizer on the South Side of Chicago “was funded partly” by the “Catholic Church campaign for human development…” – the CCHD.

Obama was himself trained by top Alinskyian organizers, named for Marxist organizer Saul Alinsky, who said:

“To effect constructive changes in the life of the Back of the Yards Neighborhood (Alinsky’s first organization in Chicago). These two elemental social institutions are, First, The Catholic Church and, second, organized Labor”

One of these organizers was the ex-Jesuit, Greg Galuzzo, lead organizer for Gamaliel. The Developing Communities Project operated under the Gamaliel Foundation, a network of Alinskyian organizations that also received CCHD grants. Gamaliel, which has also received Soros OSI grants, calls Obama a former Gamaliel organizer and boasts of connections to top White House officials such as Obama friend Valerie Jarrett.

1x1.trans John Podesta, the Center for American Progress, and the Communist friendly Modern Progressive Movement

The Developing Communities Project, which hired Obama as lead organizer, was an offshoot of the Calumet Community Religious Conference of Alinsky-trained Jerry Kellman. The network of community organizations Alinsky founded, known as the Industrial Areas Foundation, also received CCHD grants.

The grants are being used, however, not just to seize power, but to change the minds of traditional Catholics. Indeed, this is a necessary prerequisite for taking power.

Alinskyian training sessions in the religious context are designed not to develop or cultivate a personal relationship with Christ and promote traditional values and cultural institutions but to engage in Marxist political activity and radical change. Analyst Stephanie Block puts it this way: “Their worldview is marred by visions of class struggle and perpetual revolution. They are systematically trained to renounce moral truth in favor of consensus-based ‘values.’”

What has happened over the years, some of these experts say, is that Catholics trained in Alinskyian thought have become confused about moral issues and problems. They think, for example, that opposition to the death penalty is on the same moral plane as opposition to abortion, even though Catholic moral teaching has never precluded capital punishment. They believe that fighting “global warming” is as important as saving the lives of unborn children or preventing the killing of the elderly. They are trained to fight for abortion and homosexual “rights” in violation of traditional Catholic Church teaching.

Soros is putting significant resources into several official and unofficial Catholic organizations. For example, our analysis finds that Soros money has gone into the Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLINIC), an organization established by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops back in 1988.

Yet, the Soros-funded Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) on September 13, 2011, formally urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor to investigate the Vatican for alleged crimes against humanity because of child sex crimes committed by Catholic priests.

Soros is trying to buy off or put the squeeze on the Catholic Church because he sees it as a global competitor for power. An atheist committed to the “right to die,” he opposes its emphasis on the right to life from conception to natural death and fears that its global power could undermine his vision of the “open society.”

The Podesta Brothers

In regard to the Middle East, CAP foreign policy expert Brian Katulis had argued that the U.S. ought to pull the plug on the Hosni Mubarak government in Egypt and deal with the pro-terrorist Muslim Brotherhood.  This was the policy adopted by the Obama Administration. The International Crisis Group (ICG), which is in the top 20 organizations funded by OIS, issued a 2008 report urging Egyptian government acceptance of the Muslim Brotherhood. One key ICG member is Robert Malley, a former adviser to Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign. Malley resigned after it was exposed he had communicated with Hamas, a Muslim Brotherhood off-shoot. His father, Simon Malley, was an important figure in the Egyptian Communist Party.

Writing on the website of CAP, journalist Pratap Chatterjee hjad noted that Tony Podesta, “the brother of a former White House chief of staff,” joined with Toby Moffett, a former Democratic Congressman, and Bob Livingston, a former Republican Congressman, to create a lobbying organization, the PLM Group, to represent Egypt in Washington.

Targeting Patriots and the Right Wing Conservatives

It is amazing how we are to follow the stories of the White House Dog, The Easter Egg Roll, etc. yet we, those that oppose the platform of the Obama Administration, or anyone that is not politically Left  are being targeted.

From Atlas Shrugs AND  The Obama File:

Targeting Patriots And The Right

Atlas Shrugs asks if you have you seen this .pdf?  It is the fascist blueprint to create a police state and legalize gulags.  This is not a spoof.  This is the “mission statement” for Obama’s “civilian army.”

This product is one of a series of intelligence assessments published by the Extremism and Radicalization Branch (Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division, Office of Threat Analysis. Coordinated with the FBI.) to facilitate a greater understanding of the phenomenon of violent radicalization in the United States.  The information is provided to federal, state, local, and tribal counterterrorism and law enforcement officials so they may effectively deter, prevent, preempt, or respond to terrorist attacks against the United States.  Federal efforts to influence domestic public opinion must be conducted in an overt and transparent manner, clearly identifying United States Government sponsorship.

Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely.  It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

Key Findings

The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic rightwing terrorists are currently planning acts of violence, but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues.  The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment.

Translation:  There is no threat. Give us time, we’ll create one.

Threats from white supremacist and violent antigovernment groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts.  Nevertheless, the consequences of a prolonged economic downturn — including real estate foreclosures, unemployment, and an inability to obtain credit — could create a fertile recruiting environment for rightwing extremists and even result in confrontations between such groups and government authorities similar to those in the past.

Translation: There is no threat. Give us time, we’ll create one.

The current economic and political climate has some similarities to the 1990s when rightwing extremism experienced a resurgence fueled largely by an economic recession, criticism about the outsourcing of jobs, and the perceived threat to U.S. power and sovereignty by other foreign powers.

American sovereignty is a radical position now?

During the 1990s, these issues contributed to the growth in the number of domestic rightwing terrorist and extremist groups and an increase in violent acts targeting government facilities, law enforcement officers, banks, and infrastructure sectors.

Sounds like they are describing Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, Obama’s great friends and terrorist patriots!

Growth of these groups subsided in reaction to increased government scrutiny as a result of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing and disrupted plots, improvements in the economy, and the continued U.S. standing as the preeminent world power.

Here they go again, pulling that 15 year old canard out of their ass (while neglecting to point out McVeigh’s Middle Eastern connections. [Tom has more on the al qaeda connection too].  Their evidence is one terror attack 15 years ago –but fail to mention the 13,000 Islamic attacks since 9/11.

The possible passage of new restrictions on firearms and the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities could lead to the potential emergence of terrorist groups or lone wolf extremists capable of carrying out violent attacks.

Ah, there it is. take their guns away.  Jail’em if they disagree.

Proposed imposition of firearms restrictions and weapons bans likely would attract new members into the ranks of rightwing extremist groups, as well as potentially spur some of them to begin planning and training for violence against the government.  The high volume of purchases and stockpiling of weapons and ammunition by rightwing extremists in anticipation of restrictions and bans in some parts of the country continue to be a primary concern to law enforcement.

Ban?  What ban?  This is a staging.  Fake staging to seize weapons.

Returning veterans possess combat skills and experience that are attractive to rightwing extremists.  DHS/I&A is concerned that rightwing extremists will attempt to recruit and radicalize returning veterans in order to boost their violent capabilities.

America’s heroes are considered extremists because they have combat skills.

These wonderful young people, who daily risks their lives in defence of our country are now being painted as extremists by this bunch in the White House.

And these paragraphs are just the introduction to this radical document, which is nothing more than Obama’s plan to paint anyone that disagrees with Obama’s agenda as an extremist.

If you oppose illegal immigration — you are an extremist.

If you are a strong supporter of your 2nd Amendment rights and an opponent of federal firearms registration — you are an extremist.

If you oppose a “One World Government” — you are an extremist.

Disgruntled military veterans — yup, extremists!

If you oppose government infringement on civil liberties — you are an extremist.

Are you a member of the “cabal of Jewish financial elites” — you’re an extremist.

Do you “bemoan” the decline of U.S. stature — away with you — you are an extremist.

If you are unemployed, you are susceptible to forming rightwing extremist beliefs in your children — specifically xenophobia and antidemocratic ideals — you are an extremist.

And, it goes on and on.

This document was prepared by the Obama Administration as a result  of “the historical election of an African American president and the prospect of policy changes (that) are proving to be a driving force for rightwing extremist recruitment and radicalization.”

The document closes with a charge for Americans to spy on their fellow Americans:

“DHS encourages recipients of this document to report information concerning suspicious or criminal activity to DHS and the FBI.”     [Question here is: WHO are the recipients of this document? WHO are they sending it to?]

Read this ten-page document. Send it to your friends and associates. Let them know what Obama plans for those who disagree with his socialist and “One World Government.”

Military demands details on soldiers’ private guns
Fort Campbell command reversed under pressure
Posted: March 21, 2009

By Bob Unruh

A military commander at Fort Campbell in Kentucky demanded his soldiers give him the registration numbers of any guns they own privately and then reveal where they are stored.

The order was stopped, according to base officials, when it was discovered the commander was not “acting within his authority.”

The original order was issued on the letterhead of Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment and said effective March 11, any soldier with a “privately owned weapon” was required to submit the information, along with any information about any concealed carry permit the soldier may have, and what state issued the permit.

Further, the rule warned, “If any soldier comes into possession of a Privately Owned Weapon following the effective date of this memorandum, he is required to inform the Chain of Command of the above information.”

One soldier who objected to the demands circulated the memo, commenting that he lives off post.

“It just seems a little coincidental to me that within 90 days the most anti-firearm president in history is inaugurated, some of the nastiest anti-firearm laws are put on the table in Washington, and then the Army comes around wanting what amounts to a registration on all firearms, even if they are off post, and doesn’t provide any reason or purpose as to why,” the soldier said.

Gun Letter

Gun Letter

Base spokeswoman Cathy Gramling told WND the letter apparently was a mistake. She said the base requires anyone bringing a privately owned weapon onto the installation to register it.

“As a response to a number of negligent discharges of privately owned weapons, the command decided to explore how to implement a training program for soldiers with privately owned weapons. Their goal is to identify soldiers with firearms and provide additional safety training to them, much like our motorcycle and driver safety classes,” she said.

“Our soldiers train and operate in combat with M-4 carbines and various other military weapons, but not all who purchase their own weapons are properly trained to handle them. Determining which soldiers possess weapons will allow the command to identify the soldiers who may require additional training on them,” she said.

Learn here why it’s your right – and duty – to be armed.

Gramling said the memo was “from a subordinate unit commander who, at the time, believed he was acting within his authority.” She said requiring the information was halted when it was discovered the commander was not within his authority.

The process has been suspended pending a full review, she said.

“This is not an effort to infringe on soldiers’ rights to own firearms,” Gramling told WND.

Mistake or not, the commander’s order comes on the heels of a Department of Defense policy that limited the supply of ammunition available to the private gun owners by requiring destruction of fired military cartridge brass.

That policy already had been implemented and had taken a bite out of the nation’s stressed ammunition supply before it was reversed this week.

That policy already had been implemented and had taken a bite out of the nation’s stressed ammunition supply before it was reversed this week.

Mark Cunningham, a legislative affairs representative with the Defense Logistics Agency, explained in an e-mail to the office of Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., that the Department of Defense had placed small arms cartridge cases on its list of sensitive munitions items as part of an overall effort to ensure national security is not jeopardized in the sale of any Defense property.

“Upon review, the Defense Logistics Agency has determined the cartridge cases could be appropriately placed in a category of government property allowing for their release for sale,” Cunningham wrote.

So now our military’s own personal guns and ammunition are being “counted” and “located”……WHAT is going on in this country?

Trying to tell Americans they cannot carry “registered” handguns into a National Park?

Guns being counted, ammunition being “registered”……

What’s next?

President Obama: Give Janet Napolitano a Newspaper or Have Her Communicate With The Head Of Border Patrol!

This is unbelieveable! The Head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, the one who couldn’t even control the illegals coming over the border in Arizona, now says this:

Napolitano: Violence in Mexico Not Yet Spilling Across U.S. Border.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano acknowledges rising violence in Mexico, but says while U.S. officials are preparing for that violence to spill across the border it has not yet.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano denied Thursday that the latest drug-fueled violence in Mexico has spilled across the border, even as local officials throughout the country see troubling signs of Mexican gang activity.

The Department of Justice reports that 230 U.S. cities, from Anchorage to Atlanta have a cartel or Mexican gang presence.

A February report from the Cato Institute found a “troubling number of incidents” in which Mexico violence was spilling across the border.

It also noted increasing violence against U.S. citizens traveling in the southern neighbor.

Federal authorities say more that $14 billion in illegal drugs are smuggled into the U.S. every year through Mexico.

And Phoenix, the capital city of Napolitano’s home state of Arizona, recorded 370 kidnappings last year, placing it only second to Mexico City worldwide, though it wasn’t immediately clear how many of the kidnappings can be traced to Mexican drug activity.

Napolitano acknowledged Thursday that violence in Mexico “has risen to very high levels.” But she said that although the U.S. is planning for the potential for violence to move north across the border, it hasn’t happened yet.

“Right now it has not (crossed the border). But it is a contingency we have in mind because it could,” the former Arizona governor told reporters.

“We have contingency plans should violence spread into the United States.”

The situation in Mexico is dire.

The country sees almost daily assassinations and kidnappings of government and police officials, battles frequently break out between soldiers and drug gangs involving small-arms fire and rocket-propelled grenades.

Experts warn that the violence already is on a pace to break last year’s record of nearly 6,000 people killed by narco-terrorists in Mexico.

“What we have seen in Mexico is a very sobering trend. … At the current pace, for 2009 we are looking at something in the area of 8,000 dead. It is a carnage that is alarming already,” Ted Carpenter, a Cato Institute foreign policy expert, said at a forum Thursday. “Mexico has already displaced Colombia as the kidnapping capital of the world … and the violence is spilling across the border into the United States. American citizens, including law enforcement personnel, have been targeted by the drug cartels for assassination.”

President Obama discussed the latest drug violence during a meeting last month with Mexican President Felipe Calderon, whose country already has deployed 45,000 troops to fight the cartels.

The final stimulus plan Obama signed into law this week contained about $600 million to help bolster border security and curb gun flow to Mexico — 95 percent of which come from the U.S.

The situation is so unstable the Obama administration’s new director of national intelligence warned Congress last week that the Mexican government is losing control.

“The corruptive influence and increasing violence of Mexican drug cartels impedes Mexico City’s ability to govern parts of its country,” Dennis Bair told the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Even more alarming, the U.S. Joint Forces Command said in recent report that Mexico rivals Pakistan as the country most at risk of collapse. The report said Mexico’s “politicians, police and judicial infrastructure are all under sustained assault and pressure by criminal gangs and drug cartels. … Any descent by Mexico into chaos would demand an American response based on the serious implications for homeland security alone.”

Then read this: Border Patrol Agents Shoot Man as He Runs Over Fellow Officer

EL PASO, Texas — U.S. Border Patrol agents shot a man described as a suspected drug smuggler in the New Mexico desert Thursday night, federal officials said Friday.

Doug Mosier, a Border Patrol spokesman in El Paso, said agents were trying to stop a pickup truck headed north along a desert ranch road about 11 p.m. Thursday night, when the driver ran over an agent.

At least one other agent at the scene opened fire, hitting the driver at least once.

Following the shooting, Mosier said, the driver of the truck crashed the vehicle along N.M. 9, about 25 miles west of the border crossing at Santa Teresa, about 14 miles west of El Paso.

The agent and the driver, neither of whom have been identified, were both taken to a hospital in El Paso. Mosier said the agent suffered nonlife-threatening injuries.

No details on the driver’s condition were available Friday.

The truck is believed to have crossed the border along a patch of rough desert littered with scrub brush and little else. Mosier said there are about 48 miles of vehicle and pedestrian fencing in the area, though it is unclear exactly where the driver of the truck came across the border.

Todd Hulsey, an FBI spokesman in Albuquerque, said agents from the El Paso office were at the remote scene overnight and the FBI’s field office in Las Cruces is investigating the alleged assault on the agent.

The Las Cruces FBI office was was writing an affidavit for a federal arrest warrant charging the driver with assaulting a federal officer and drug trafficking, he said.

The FBI does not know who the driver is because he carried no identification, but believe he is a Mexican national, Hulsey said.

The truck contained 1,500 pounds of marijuana, wrapped in 25-pound bundles that filled the interior of the Ford pickup “so that only one human being could fit inside of it,” Hulsey said.

Mosier said Thursday night’s incident illustrates the danger agents face along remote stretches of the border.

“It is always a dangerous formula when you have a smuggling episode and desperation on the part of suspected smugglers,” he said.

It’s not the first time an agent has been run over while trying to stop a vehicle in the desert.

Agent Luis Aguilar was working in southeastern California’s Imperial Sand Dunes last January when he was hit and killed by a suspected marijuana smuggler. Jesus Navarro Montes was arrested earlier this month in Mexico near Zihuatenejo in an operation coordinated with the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service. The U.S. government is seeking his extradition on drug charges.,2933,497904,00.html

So according to Janet Napolitano; even though there have been 370 recorded kidnappings by drug cartel, a border agent run over and killed in California last January, one border agent run over by a drug smuggler recently and over 230 U.S. cities, from Anchorage to Atlanta that have a cartel or Mexican gang presence, says while U.S. officials are preparing for that violence to spill across the border it has not yet?

What? Are we to wait until we start have 500 killed by drug cartels or more before she realizes we have a problem? What is her focal goal before she acts?

And Obama and our current Administration wants to control our guns and ammunition? Whatever happened to the RIGHT to protect our homes and families from the likes of the Mexican cartels? Since our own Homeland Security Secretary fails to recognize we as Americans have a problem on our southern border, don’t we have the right to protect ourselves from this violence?

The biggest shocker is when the Mexicans can sue an AMERICAN farmer protecting his ranch from illegals TRESPASSING on his property!
