Reputed neo-Nazi J.T. Ready apparently killed himself and his family yesterday.
There is one thing the major media outlets (MNSBC, L.A. Times, Arizona Republic) reporting on the story either fail to mention or bury. Ready was planning to run for Sheriff as a Democrat (h/t reader mgparrish):
A well known former Neo-Nazi has his sights set on the Pinal County Sheriff’s office now that the current Sheriff, Paul Babeu plans to run for Congress and J.T. Ready wants the job.
In a move that surprised many people, Ready switched political parties and plans to run as a Democrat.
Instead, groups like Think Progress already are seeking to frame the media narrative in the direction that Ready once was associated with the Republican Arizona legislator who helped draft S.B. 1070, even though the relationship was disavowed when Ready’s neo-Nazi ties became known. That theme has been picked up by the Tucson Citizen, which repeatedly mentions that the legislator is Republican, but buries Ready’s Democratic Party plans near the bottom of the article.
Ready’s plans to run as a Democrat do not implicate the Democratic Party in any way. But you can be sure that the media narrative will try to implicate Republicans, as it already has, and work the Tea Party into this somehow.

Former Neo-Nazi to Run for Pinal County Sheriff as a Democrat

PHOENIX – A well known former Neo-Nazi has his sights set on the Pinal County Sheriff’s office now that the current Sheriff, Paul Babeu plans to run for Congress and J.T. Ready wants the job.
In a move that surprised many people, Ready switched political parties and plans to run as a Democrat.
He filed the paperwork to form an exploratory committee and according to the campaign’s Facebook page, he’s already started talking with voters.
“This is a white European homeland..that is how it should be preserved if we want to keep it clean, safe and secure,” said Ready at a Neo-Nazi rally back in 2009.
On Ready’s Facebook page, there’s a picture of him posing in front of Malcolm X Street, holding up his right fist.
Close to our border, Ready is a leading member of the U.S. Border Guard, a group of usually armed volunteers who patrol the U.S.-Mexico border.
He got his first taste of politics back in 2006 while running for the Mesa City Council.
“The fact that a Neo-Nazi, then a member of the National Socialist Movement, the largest Neo-Nazi group in America, was working its way into mainstream politics was very, very frightening,” said Bill Straus of the Anti-Defamation League.
Ready appears to be taking his campaign seriously by running as a Democrat, he’ll need less than 300 signatures by April 30 to qualify.

He supports legalizing marijuana, considers himself a civil libertarian, has had nice things to say about the Occupy movement, and recently filed paperwork in Pinal County to run for Sheriff as a Democrat.
One little speed bump: He also happens to be the best known neo-Nazi in Arizona and has referred to Adolf Hitler as a “great white civil rights leader.”
I’m speaking, of course, of J.T. Ready, notorious for his affiliations with the National Socialist Movement (he’s no longer an official member, but still marches with them), his one-time friendship with Sand Land’s biggest bigot, ex-state Senate President Russell Pearce, and his ongoing armed patrols in the desert, during which he’s turned over drugs, dead bodies and suspected illegal immigrants to the U.S. Border Patrol.
Currently, Ready has a “J.T. Ready for Sheriff” Facebook site, with photos showing him campaigning in Pinal County, sidling up to a pretty African-American woman, posing with a shotgun as he hunts “narco-terrorists in the desert night,” and, my favorite, doing a black-power fist salute in front of a sign for a Malcolm X Street, apparently in Coolidge, Arizona.

“As part of our exploratory committee for Sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona- the Chairman and I visit a Black neighborhood to better understand the concerns of the people and how to utilize their help in combating Mexican drug cartels. Seems how we have an official Malcolm X street sign, one of my priorities will be to add a George Lincoln Rockwell sign as well.”
Rockwell, in case you don’t know, was the infamous fuhrer of the American Nazi Party, assassinated in 1967 by a disgruntled stormtrooper.

Ready’s committee “chairman”? According to paperwork Ready submitted to the Pinal County Elections Department, that’s active NSM member Harry Hughes, a resident of Maricopa, Arizona, who recently scored some press for local swastika-lickers by distributing racist fliers in the San Tan Valley.
The forms also state that both Ready and Hughes share the same Maricopa address. A woman by the name of “Amber Mederos” is listed as treasurer of the “Committee to Elect J.T. Ready.”
As Ready was once a registered Republican and a GOP precinct committeeman when he lived in Mesa, why has he now switched over to the Ds?
“It’s the party of Jim Crow, [late U.S. Senator and one-time KKK member] Robert Byrd, and [late Alabama Governor and one-time segregationist] George Wallace,” he cracked. “You gotta bring it home, know what I mean?”

He described the exploratory phase of his campaign as “kinda putting your French Tickler on,” but said his campaign was “for real” and he hoped to draw support from all across the political spectrum.
“We should have freedom in this country,” he intoned, much like a candidate for office. “Whether or not it’s on the left or right-wing extreme, as long as it’s done lawfully, we need those things in place to prevent the middle from being eroded upon through tyranny.”

At a Congressional Black Caucus event in Miami, Indiana Democratic Rep. Andre Carson used some incendiary words to describe what he believes is the Tea Party’s stance on African Americans.
Carson’s comments, first exposed by The Blaze, betrayed the congressman’s belief that Tea Partiers on Capitol Hill want to see African Americans “hanging on a tree.” Carson’s comments invoked the comparison of racist Jim Crow laws to current Tea Party actions:
“[Tea Partiers would] love to see us as second-class citizens…some of them in Congress right now of this tea party movement would love to see you and me…hanging on a tree.”
And now, for the first time, Rep. Carson is personally defending his remarks. A spokesman had earlier reaffirmed the Congressman’s comments.
Carson tells CNN, “I stand on the truth of what I spoke.”
Is this guy for real, or did he miss history is school? It was Democrats/Progressives who passed the Jim Crow Laws, it was Democrats who formed the KKK, lynching Blacks, it was Democrats who fought to keep Slavery, it was Democrats who segregated the Military, it was Democrats who wrote the labor laws to keep blacks out of the workforce, it was LBJ who first threatened to filibuster the Civil Rights Laws in the Senate he later signed as President, Martin Luther King was a conservative Republican, and I believe he would have been a tea party member if he were alive today. Margaret Sanger, formed Planned Parenthood as part of the Eugenics movement, a movement that believed Blacks were second class humans, and should be removed from the gene pool, and PP, was to be the instrument to get them to volunteer to abort their children. All the racism in this nation must be laid at the feet of the Democratic Party and Progressive Ideology, a group who is using the black man as a pawn in their socialist power game.

History shows that the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party. This ugly fact about the Democrat Party is detailed in the book, A Short History of Reconstruction, (Harper & Row Publishers, Inc., 1990) by Dr. Eric Foner, the renown liberal historian who is the DeWitt Clinton Professor of History at Columbia University. As a further testament to his impeccable credentials, Professor Foner is only the second person to serve as president of the three major professional organizations: the Organization of American Historians, American Historical Association, and Society of American Historians.
Democrats in the last century did not hide their connections to the Ku Klux Klan. Georgia-born Democrat Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan wrote on page 21 of the September 1928 edition of the Klan’s “The Kourier Magazine”: “I have never voted for any man who was not a regular Democrat. My father … never voted for any man who was not a Democrat. My grandfather was …the head of the Ku Klux Klan in reconstruction days…. My great-grandfather was a life-long Democrat…. My great-great-grandfather was…one of the founders of the Democratic party.”
Dr. Foner in his book explores the history of the origins of Ku Klux Klan and provides a chilling account of the atrocities committed by Democrats against Republicans, black and white.
On page 146 of his book, Professor Foner wrote: “Founded in 1866 as a Tennessee social club, the Ku Klux Klan spread into nearly every Southern state, launching a ‘reign of terror‘ against Republican leaders black and white.” Page 184 of his book contains the definitive statements: “In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired the restoration of white supremacy. It aimed to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.”

Character assassination. That’s the tactic used by Democrats in the 1960′s todiscredit Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. a Republican who was fighting theDemocrats and trying to stop them from denying civil rights to blacks.
The relentless disparagement of Dr. King by Democrats led to his being physically assaulted and ultimately to his tragic death. In March of 1968, while referring to Dr. King’s leaving Memphis, Tennessee after riots broke out where a teenager was killed, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, called Dr. King a “trouble-maker” who starts trouble, but runs like a coward after trouble is ignited. A few weeks later, Dr. King returned to Memphis and was assassinated on April 4, 1968.

The Democratic Party Owes Blacks An Apology

As author Michael Scheuer stated, the Democratic Party is the party of the four S’s: slavery,secession, segregation and now socialism. Clearly, then, it is the Democratic Party that owes black Americans an apology – not the Republican Party, nor the United States of America.
National Democratic Party leaders should follow the example set by the Democratic Party leaders in North Carolina, who, as a result of the 1898 Wilmington Race Riot Commission Report of May 31, 2006, issued a unanimous apology on January 20, 2007 for the Democratic Party’s 1898 murderous rampage where dozens of black Americans were massacred.

We can all agree that this was a SENSELESS act by JT Ready; especially the taking of the life of a 2 year old child.
Anyone with common sense can realize that JT Ready was Narcissistic and a promulgator of trying to attain his fifteen minutes of fame be it through Nazism, National Socialism, etc.
This story will be spun by the Progressives/Democrats and their ATTEMPT to connect JT Ready to the Tea Party.
BOTH parties rejected JT Ready as part of their party. Democrats even warned people NOT to sign any petitions until Democrat candidates for Sheriff were presented.
